Elena Cavallin

Hi, I'm Elena Cavallin. I am an interaction ︎designer and HMI researcher focused on the interaction between designers and artificial intelligence.

I completed my ︎︎PhD in Design Sciences at the School of Doctorate Studies of the University Iuav of Venice with a thesis investigating how designers interact with GenAI systems during the design process, with a particular focus on the concept design phase.

Since 2020 I have been collaborating on teaching and research activities at the University Iuav of Venice and the University of San Marino. I currently collaborate with ︎Fablab Castelfranco Veneto as a designer and AI consultant. In the design field, I have collaborated as a consultant with leading companies working both at Re:lab and as an independent designer.
